Dr. Navneet Kaur is a renowned academic surgeon and a leading expert in breast and general surgery, with over three decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience. She has served as the Director Professor of Surgery at the University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) & GTB Hospital, Delhi, where she mentored generations of surgical trainees and contributed to advancing medical education and surgical standards.
A pioneer in oncoplastic breast surgery in India, Dr. Kaur is a founder member and the President Elect (2026–2028) of the Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI). She is known for blending surgical precision with aesthetic outcomes, offering women not just treatment but dignity and confidence in recovery.
Over the course of her career, she has authored more than 125 research publications, contributed to national breast cancer care guidelines, and has been invited to deliver 130+ guest lectures across India and abroad. She has supervised over 65 postgraduate theses and played an instrumental role in shaping surgical education.
Dr. Kaur has been honored with numerous awards and recognitions, including the Outstanding ASI Member Award (2023), the Dr. S.K. Sen Oration, and the Dr. A.K. Sahay Oration. Her contributions have earned her national and international recognition, particularly in the field of breast cancer survivorship.
She is frequently invited as a subject expert for faculty recruitment and examination panels by prestigious institutions such as the UPSC, AIIMS, KGMU, and the National Board of Examinations.
