Prof. Dr. Navneet Kaur participated as Co-Chair of Panel III at the National Dialogue on Consumer Protection Act on Medical Profession, held on 11 October 2026 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The conference, themed “Thirty Years After IMA vs. V.P. Shantha: Time to Review the Experience,” brought together medical professionals, legal experts, and healthcare leaders to examine three decades of medical disputes in consumer forums.
The discussions highlighted the importance of balancing patient rights, professional accountability, and fair dispute resolution while recognising the complexities of modern medical practice.
